4th on a manual seems to be what most do on theses cars.

It is a manual trans. We did the pull in 5th gear (160 mph)

We didn't have time to pull everything off to get a rpm signal, so I didn't get any TQ numbers.

It made 277 whp stock
and 338 whp with stage 1 Cobb tune.

DCT cars should run in 5th gear and AT/MT cars should be done in 4th gear.

There isn't really an issue with dynoing a 6 speed trans in 5th gear but the wheel speeds of a 5th gear pull are VERY high and pose more of a safety risk.

Do you only have the tune? Exhaust or intake mods?

Drop in filter, and Berk axle back.

My first dyno runs were done in 4th. I'm really curious what difference 5th would make. With the injen intake and berk race axleback in the stock map of jb4 it was around 280 hp and 290tq. In map 5(auto tuning) it was 342 hp and 370 tq at 15psi. A year later same dyno with cat-less downpipes and giant intercooler and new charge pipe, in map 5 it was 385 hp and 427 tq at 16.5 psi. I had bad misfires then and since have sorted them out. Can't wait to see what she does this year. I really need to ask him if he'd be ok with the speeds involved with 5th gear. It was a dynomite dyno and that seems about close to the numbers you got. Interesting thought about 5th gear.

Assuming the calculation were done properly, the difference would be negligible.

I was thinking about that this morning. Probably not worth the added danger of spinning the tires that fast.
