Only gotten 1 look from a Swiss-Italian hottie in a parking garage in Lugano, Switzerland. Actually I was pissed because she walked across the parking structure and basically cut-me off.

I ended up scraping my wheel  because I was checking her out checking my car out.

I have noticed more women check me out; however, guys in civics do in fact stare! So strange. Maybe it's a phenomenon specific to Toronto?

I get looks from people in Civics to people driving delivery trucks-more guys than girls.

Other BMWs definately look (5 series e46ers).

But I got more reactions when we got the X3. A lady in a well-to-do neighborhood stopped besides me, lowered the window of her 7 series and complimented me on the car (then only 3 days old) asked how we liked it and then remarked that she loves BMWs and would consider getting the X3 as a weekend chalet machine. I thought that was the best compliment (she was well into her 50s).

You bought a 4dr E90 looking for attention from women? Single women?

The only reason I stare at other people's E90s is out of curiosity. Is there one booster seat in the back, or two? Trust me, you aren't going to get attention from single women walking up to your Ultimate Family Car with a toddler tugging at your pants leg. At least, nobody has ever hinted to me that chicks find small children and their accoutrements a turn-on.

My 330i inspires profound confidence in me as I drive my wife and little one to and fro. It's a wonderful car. But let's be honest, I drive the E90, not a Boxster, because I am a family guy now. If you want female attention, wait for the convertible. Better yet, the Z4 is a few yards away at the dealership, and there is probably a Porsche dealership down the block.

I experienced that most (german) women give a sh!t what car you drive.

If you go and tell them "Hey , I got a brand new car", they quote "oh nice, what colour?" whereas the guys go "cool, what model/specs/engine/hp/torque..."

But hell, when you pull up pushing a goddam baby cart, then you are the man, gathering the hottest girls.

You have nooooo idea how wrong you are

Babies and puppies are a sure babe magnet. They find the little things irresistable, and, in the cae of the baby, figure its safe to talk. Then there is the speculative aspect, instinctively they figure you are good father, you are virile and obviusly have money to provide for a familly since you drive such a fine automobile.

Priceless.

Of course there is absolutely nothing you can do about it given that you value your life and earthly possessions and do not want to see your kids under escort once every two weeks-but that is another story.

Indeed, and not counting the fact that the only real comment I got was from the dedicated woman at the school crossing ! And yes, I do look in front of me when I drive.

if babies are such a "babe magnet" how many guys here hooked up with a chick after meeting her due to your baby

I think they're talking to you when you've got a baby since they're assuming (correctly in most cases, I'd imagine) that you're not going to try and bang them

I agree they think it is safe to talk.

Of course I have met girls when I was younger in the park while walking the puppy and then you start to talk to them/they to you blahblahblah ----
