I would much rather not have to buy new tyres only to then need new tyres again once these rims arrive here in Australia.

Just need to work a timeline for my own sake; i.e. Work out when they might leave the US, then I will calculate the transport time, then customs time and then when I'll have them in my hands!

Much appreciated
We`ll have an estimate date of arrival in a few days. Bare with us just a little longer.

According to Alufelgen's website, on the group buy page:

Quote:
*Group Buy Terms & Conditions - 90 Day Delivery

Group buys are a great value to our customers — buy factory direct and save! Full payment is required and wheel delivery is expected within 90 days. Your credit card will be charged 50% of the total when production begins and the remaining 50% when the wheels are ready to ship. If we fail to deliver your wheels within 120 days you reserve the option to cancel your order for a full refund. Orders within the 120 day period cannot be refunded.
I'm not in this group buy (so maybe I should just keep my mouth shut), but how is Alufelgen able to charge the remaining 50%, if these wheels are still a while from shipping?

The first 50% payment took us about 2-3 weeks to process since some credit cards did not get authorized, some people were traveling, and Google placed some orders on hold. We asked to process the cards sooner to avoid any delays related to that.

Appreciate your concern.

Seriously, what the?!

Even my tyre supplier keeps asking what's going on. I really should not have told anyone. If only they knew how good the end product looked.

I'd really like these rims soon. I'm even looking at a 123d as a replacement car. I need to get these alloys before I go crazy with the 'stock' look.

Since you last said we'd know about production soon, it has been 8 days (according to my Sydney timing). Surely you should know something by now? Has there been a problem with something? Best you be upfront I think...!

Thanks

Steven

A few days has now turned into more than 8 days.

The group buy is now into its 143rd day, from when it officially started on Monday 7/13/09.

Here some professional mounted shots we did a few days ago. BIG thanks to the entire crew at ICarbon, Bridgestone for a nice set of RE-11s and NVP as well. Enjoy!

By the time they're boxed, shipped and through customs, I'm going for late January.

Time to look for used 225/45R18s in the meantime for me...

At least the pictures look great!
