Good question. I added a used Forge IC, and a (used) Cobb tuner.
I first started with the Level 2 Cobb Sport tune for upgrade IC and pump gas, and it added considerable power, but I didn't like the way it was non-linear - starting at 2500rpm, if you floored it, it would pull better than stock, up to about 3200-3500 rpm, at which point it would push your face backward off your skull. This seemed too unpredictable to me, and I didn't like the thought of it happening if I wasn't expecting the surge. So I backed off to the Level 1 Sport tune (no IC upgrade), and with that and the Forge I'm getting a nice smooth predictable power curve, with maybe 10-12% more power than stock - at a guess maybe 370 horses and 400 feet, and still well-mannered and controllable. |

cobb OTS maps are very weak compared to other tunes. if you go with cobb, get a protune, it will be a night and day difference. i would highly recommend wedge performance for your protune
