BMW M1 Procar Monaco 1979
Unfortunately there is no M1 forum on bimmerpost so I thought this would be the next logical place to post this video. Beautiful vintage footage of the M1 procar series in Monaco having some F1 greats behind the wheel including Lauda, Fittipaldi and Piquet.

Dogging any debate on the name similarity or difference: This is incredible footage and would love to see a 1M cup competition these days. The 1M is not as rare and iconic as the M1 but perhaps it will achieve absolute cult status over time anyway. So far it's going the right direction!
On topic: never trust any 'M1 with ///M stripes and spoiler' ad that claims it has never been 'tracked'. |
