www.emraracing.org you would want to look at the Time Trial section... That is what you would run in a street car.. Great group, relatively inexpensive... i plan on doing at least 5 of there events: this is the schedule for 2011 Date Track April 16th Lime Rock Park May 21st - 22nd BeaveRun Motorsports Complex July 23rd Lime Rock Park July 30th - 31st Lightning @ NJ Motorsports Park August 27th Lime Rock Park September 3rd - 4th Lightning @ NJ Motorsports Park October 1st - 2nd Pocono North Course November 12th - 13th Summit Point Main Course Online registration opens 6 weeks before each event. Check back often for the latest event info and registration details.

Stock for stock m3 is better, hands down. But my 135i is havily modified and is more fun to drive at the limit mainly because its about 450 pounds lighter. I put her on a diet. Also i like low end torque of 135i better and i think its a better daily driver because of it. What do you think?

if i wanna go balls fast highway runs id choose the M feels like it has more relentless power up top; local and here and there, yesterday before this shitty weather i ran the 1 so hard i felt like i had jet lag walking out of that thing deff a completely opp effect. Im torn I want the 1M tho, Becuz i know what the M feels like i can only imagine the limited slip.

forget about race lic / sprint / enduro section.. those are prepped race cars and you need to be signed off.. Time Trial is where it is at for street cars .. usually 4 or 5 20 min sessions per event.. i.e lime rock was 55 laps total for the day if you never raced with them your first event will be as follows 250.00 for the day minus 100.00 first time discount 40.00 for school ( mandatory for first timers) 35.00 for transponder rental too see your times Lime rock is the most expensive one on there list, the others are between 175 and 200 for the day plus transponder .... you only need to take the class once. if you have any more questions, let me know..

i'll be hitting the track strong once my summer setup is here. i'm afraid i wont be able to make it to limerock due to the ridiculous lead time for the wheels but just wait until i get that turbo back on track. now i won't have those damn rft's slowing me down! |
