Parts vary in prices. Fenders were like $250 a piece, side markers were probably $100 and you need headlight brackets and washer reservoir were not that expensive.

Thanks guys. The Smoking Tire video is coming. I havent much updates on the 1er. I'm taking it to the track this weekend.

Here are some pics of my e92 m3 until I get my track pics. You can see the similarities between my two cars. I have been rather tempted to drop the 4.6L in the 1er and run the 4.0 in the m3 as I wont be tracking it.

I think it could be a good idea to put the stroker in the E82, but be careful of the power ... How many HP do you have in your M3 ?

You seem to have some good mods on the E92 !

The e82 in its current state is very balanced. I was always contemplating a stroker in it but held back because I thought it would be too much. After buying the stroker e92 and driving the e82 more on the track I am confident it can handle the additional torque from the stroker.

The m3 w/ the stroker only puts down marginally more Hp likely around 415 on 91 vs my FBO tuned 4.0L in the e82 at 380 however it puts down a lot more torque. I think it would be perfect in the e82 where I think a supercharger would absolutely be over the top and disrupt the balance.

How much torque do you actually have in the E92 ? Instead of increasing the power and torque, why not continuing putting her on a diet ?

In my project, I'm starting reflecting of swapping the rear OEM subrame with the one of and 1M/M3 ... I don't know which solution would be the best : some german tuner I'm in contact with said me they didn't do such a transformation !

The car has already been on a serious diet. I have deleted as much as I can while keeping it a street car with factory features. To take it further, carpet, radio, ac, etc. would need to go. The car weighs 3250lbs wet at the moment which is 450-500lbs lighter than my m3. The car feels noticeably quicker than a fbo m3 with a 4.0 s65.

The m3 puts around 315 wtq where stock is around 230 wtq.

Install on a CF roof was about as easy as it could be. It involves drilling out literally 100 rivets to remove the metal roof. BMW doesnt sell the rear glass seals separate so you have to buy a complete rear glass w/ seals to finish the install.

The revozport roof fits like the OEM roof. No crazying fitting or anything involved, it all just lined up.

Total, it shaved around 65lbs w/ the sunroof and side curtain airbags being deleted at the same time.

The CF roof is one of my favorite mods to the car. I went with 1x1 gloss for the roof where everything else in the car is 2x2 satin because the OEM //M cars come with 1x1 gloss roofs.

A friend of mine did a build with a 135i for racetrack and is very close to the 2866lbs ... That's impressive regarding to the 420hp of the N54 !

I didn't know you had to buy another glass when you changed the roof ... !

Took the cars to Thunderhill this weekend. First time driving the S3-R and all I can say is WOW. I cut a little grass with my revozport lip. Thing is solid.
