And I was just told by Trivett "Currently, we have 2 out of 7 spots available for 1M coupes to be built in 2012. The car will be built in mid 2012 and you will receive the vehicle before the end of 2012"

i never signed anything with a build number or date i just got them over the phone, i haven't signed anything at all yet and it will arrive in 2 weeks. but definately push for a build date, or try that VO M1 at gosford, or use it as leverage with canterbury

We had similar situation on the first 100. Basically I think some dealers had been unofficially told what's going on and is happy to tell their customers on that. Some dealers will only take written communication as confirmed allocation.

As far as I read it, apart from the first 100, there hasn't been any confirmed allocation. Even the first 100 has got no confirmed build dates if it hasn't been built yet.

I would say the rest of the cars are in similar situation. The dealer principals probably were promised a certain number of allocations, but has not been officially granted.

Got a quote on the following just over the phone for a factory order

White 135i LCI
6sp manual
Red Leather
Bus Nav
Mobile Music
$86,869

Asked if it was unreasonable to expect 10% off and with no hesitation said yes.
So thinik its possible for $75,000? which is 13.6%

Said if I ordered now would be April build delivery november.

I would jump on this but no one is calling me about the G6E Turbo I'm trying to sell!

Have a look at what delivery fee they are charging - 10% off should be doable if they over inflate their delivery to 5000. Especially, there is a 1er promotion at the moment.

Dealer is Worthington BMW. Trivett should have two allocations as well from what i read in the other thread. Ask for Nathan Corbishley at trivett, very upfront kind of guy.
