Advan performance, 135i/335i "Nashin Big Brake Kit"
Hi guys,
here are a few pics of the "Nashin Big Brake Kit" we will soon be installing on Peter's 335i. Sufficed it to say this is a serious bit of kit and before you ask, yes the impressively large front 380 mm rotor/caliper assembly will clear the ID of the wheel, providing you are running 19's. The cross-drilled rotor you see that is being dwarfed by the 380 mm Nashin, is a little old BMW 135i Performance rotor. Hmmm, perhaps it's time time for a proper upgrade... More details to follow shortly, this is just a quick tease to wet your appetite. Cheers, JD. Last edited by Justin@ADVAN Performance; 04-20-2012 at 04:36 PM.. Reason: Typo |

Hey Gents,
the "Nashin Big Brake Kit" we are pleased to introduce to you features a front and rear, 2-piece floating rotor assembly, monobloc calipers and all associated hardware required for fitment. The front rotor is a massive 380 mm in diameter and the rear is 345 mm. The rotor's themselves are are made of a steel alloy which has been specially coated to increase oxidation resistance, hence the unique colour of the rotor surface. Both front and rear rotors are heavily ventilated (with the front being curved vane) and have of thickness of 34 mm and 28 mm respectively. They can also be supplied "cross drilled", if you desire. The front caliper is a N-series 6 piston monobloc unit, that is cast from aluminium alloy, it was supplied with Nashin's "Sport version" pads pre-installed. The rear caliper is also a N-series monobloc unit, but it is a 4 piston assembly utilising the same "Sport version" pads. The brake pads are available in 3 different "flavours", Street Sport and Competition. The N-series callpers themselves are available in 10 different colours. Lastly the BBK includes all the necessary high strength mounting brackets and fasteners for both front and rear rotors, as well as teflon lined brake lines, that are sleeved with a double layer of stainless steel. As an introductory offer we will be selling the first 2 "Nashin Big Brake Kits" at a total cost of just $3,995.00 inclusive of GST. We will also be including a 2nd set of brake pads of your choice, for both front and rear calipers at no extra cost. This is an extremely good price for an incredibly good braking system, a similar kit would retail upwards of $7,500 from a competitor such as Brembo. Here a few more pics of the kit on offer. Cheers, JD. Last edited by Justin@ADVAN Performance; 09-28-2012 at 07:40 AM.. Reason: Typo |

Makes sense for the 335 crowd who want to do track days, good option for them over the stock brake setup.
I would have thought that the 135 crew would stick with the OEM Brembo's and go for a better pad and fluid combination. Do the 1M rotors fit? They'd be a good value for money upgrade if you just threw in good fluid and a set of Pagid (insert brand X) pads. Probably be out of it for under $1k. |

As a chap said to me many years ago get a rubber band and firmly place it around your wrist until the circulation cuts off and its like someone is doing it for you. Oh and don't forget to put a glove on because you never know where that hand has been

Brakes look horn!
I'd be keen on something similar that would fit under my OEM 18" 261 wheels - or even under a set of 17x8 track rims. Don't want to fit 19's |

Hey guys,
I not long got home from work and I am just about to head out to dinner, so I will reply to all your questions in detail later tonight. I am very pleased by the initial response for our "Nashin Big Brake Kit". Whilst this setup is indeed bad arse the front 380 mm rotor will require a 19" wheel for clearance, the good news is that there are many rotor, caliper and brake pad combinations to choose from in the Nashin range. The other Nashin brake packages we can do, are still very much track day capable, will fit under a 18" wheel and are even more cost effective than the premium kit we have advertised. Stay tuned... Cheers, JD. |
