Carbon pedals

http://cgi.ebay.ca/BMW-Black-Carbon-...item5ad5e25b7a

Hi, has anyone tried these carbon pedals in your cars? How is the quality on these pedals? I personally think that the aluminum BMM Performance pedals look much better, but the price on these carbon ones are very tempting. Will they look cheap in my car?

Yeap drilling involved, that's why I wanted to hear others' opinions in terms of looks before punching holes in the pedals.

I've considered those pedals as well. My only concern is that the black cf won't stand out enough in the footwell and it will be difficult to tell that they are cf. That's why I'm leaning towards the silver cf ones or some aluminum ones..

I doubt they will look cheap, but you should be able to decide that once you see them in person. If they look bad just try to get a refund before installing them.

these are from Bimmian and match the metal trim interior nicely.

strange works for me - copy paste this or go to my photo album

A concern I would have with the carbon is how it would look after being scuffed up by shoes.

I couldn't see the pic either and I couldn't find a pic of the pedals in your album. I'm starting the lean towards the bmw performance option myself. They fit in nicely and look like higher quality pieces. What is it about the bimmian pedals that compliments the aluminum trim interior? (I have the aluminum trim). I checked them out on bimmian's website but I can't see spending more for those than the bmw option.

Strange - album marked floor matts. They are not cheap but they are well made, nice fit and great match to trim. The design pattern is not a perfect match to the metal trim but the pattern is similar in size and color.

Those do look nice. They are completely different, and better looking, than the aluminum pedals I saw on Bimmians site. I can see how those would look great with the aluminum trim.

Unfortunately they are expensive but they really do tie in nicely with the metal trim (sorry about the poor pics). I spent a lot of time looking at pedals for I wanted to accent/mod the interior in some way. I did the pedals and then I also did the p3cars boost gauge which are in the pics as well. What I liked most about the pedals is that they look purposeful not pretty little bling do-dads.

I get rave reviews on the pedals and gauge. less is more when it comes to this cars interior in my opinion. Most people think both came with car as OEM. And just to share both installs were easy.

They really spice up the interior. Good choices. I totally agree on the subtle accents for this car.
