The reason we don’t see aftermarket clear corners is that U.S. Safety Regs. (or whatever) require ambers. I wish some aftermarket co. would make headlight replacements where that amber section was removable.

If you are feeling a bit techy. You can try hacking the iBus yourself using Navcoder software and Wolf Resler's interface.

^ Yeah, there's a couple threads on E90Post. Looks complex! And I wanna see the pictures of the white corner bulbs too.

the corner mode delete seems complex but to simplify, 1. cut #12 wire and tap (from adapter) to side marker blink power wire 2. use the wire that is been cut (from car) tap to resistor 3. use other side resistor to groud wire (any metal part of the car) |

I don't understand why everyone hates the amber corners so much...I think they look fine. Def better than the euro spec assemblies, IMO.

I agree, the deeper and richer the amber, the nicer it is. On certain paint colors, like jet black or alpine white for example, the amber is a very nice contast. I think this all started 20 years ago when the 'Euro look became popular. I think white blinkers and reflectors are too plain. Each to their own. I certainly would never modify the electrics on a $1,200 headlight assembly that is still under warranty.

To the two or three guys who have hone to the expense of installing the euro lights...
How do you "pass" the (home state)yearly saftey test when they see you have NO parking lights on, when the headlights are on? The euro city light won't cut it. I really am ok, with my "oranges". |

Is anyone one aware of any DIY or tutorials on how to use that product? I have seen two people on the forums willing to sell the coding but im assuming you would have to meet up with them. So unless anyone around the central Texas can do this im thinking about trying it myself. |

Find someone that does coding and it can be done. Amber corned delete: turn off amber corner light when headlights or parking lights are on. I had mine done so now they only function as blinkers, hazards.
