Posting this here in case some of you fellow track guys need a helmet. Mods, if you'd rather this be in the FS section please move it.

It sells brand new without the HANS anchors for $400 and the anchors are another $55 on top of that.

I'm somewhat flexible with the pricing also but I've priced it at 2/3 the cost of new. For something lightly used like mine, I think that's fair.

Wasn't knocking it man! That's a good deal I didn't think it costed that much haha. I had been looking at some that were 150 but I guess you get what you pay for.

No worries, probably should have posted the "new" pricing anyways for reference.

If you're looking for something in that price range, a used motorcycle helmet might be your best bet. Those are fine for HPDE type events. My helmet would be good for someone doing track events and thinking about using a 6 point harness and HANS or maybe doing some Chump/LeMons racing.

Thanks. I'm slightly flexible and willing to include shipping in the price if that helps anyone. I can also bring it to Summit Point April 26-27 or VIR May 2-4.

That's the problem with selling helmets, it's best if tried on in person.

The helmet is still available and I'll have it at Summit Point this coming weekend.

With it being a SA2010, would that mean it would not meet track requirement by 2015 since most will only allow helmets up to 5 years old? This is more of a question.

Well, the new SA2015 will come out in Oct 2015. I've had this same question and the answer I've found is it depends on what organization you're racing with. For HPDE/TT, this helmet will be good probably until 2020. For club racing, it depends on the organization but some will give a year or two allowance (Oct 2016 or 2017) from the time the new ratings are released.

I'm hoping someone doing HPDE/TT like me will need a Hans ready helmet as part of their track upgrades.
