M Sport Package Wheels paint code?

I have a few chips in my 17" wheels. Does anyone know the paint code or color for these wheels. I have the 128i coupe M sport package.

I've researched extensively & found that it cannot be matched perfectly. It's a tri-coat paint where they apply the base which is solid grey, then a somewhat translucent silver (similar to hyper-silver in color), then the clear. I believe that the paint they use in oversea's on these wheels cannot be purchased here in the U.S. Because of something in the base. There's touch-up kits from Bavarian that are close, but I ended up just powdering coating mine in Hyper-Silver and was done with it.

I've never seen the 128 sport wheels next to the 261M wheels, but I've been looking for the latter. The closest I've found is:

"Reflex Silver Metallic" (A44) 51 91 0 427 953.

General Motors code 501 Galaxy Silver Metallic paint - it is an almost exact match. I got a Dupli-Color "Scratch Fix 2in1" 15 ml canister which has both a brush and a roller for under $10. The code on the container is 12, WA 519F GENERAL MOTORS - and it is almost exact match for the 261M Wheels. I can barely notice the spot, and that is because I know exactly where it is, but to anyone else - it is not noticeable at all. I should have spent a little more time on the smoothing, however the color is an exact match, as close as you might need for a small touch up.

Does anyone know if the stock 261M wheels also came in black? When I bought my car they were painted a really nice black colour and after driving it for a couple months in the city, they're already getting beat up from pot holes. Hoping to get a colour match on it.

Any ideas?

Another option that I plan to try on my stock wheels.

The Galaxy Silver was spot on for my touch up. Had a couple of small spots on my 261's, read this thread (and a bunch more), then decided to try it. At first it seemed a little dark. Next morning it took me a long time to see it and I knew where it was. And the price was right! Excellent info Lester, thanks!
