Congrats and welcome to the forum.

Please tell us more, how does 135i compare to the Ms in terms of ride comfort, handling, and power? More pics also don't never hurt! Merry Holidays.

Hi there, quality cars all! The Z4 looks menecing, but its good to know that the 135 holds its own, its really grown on me, even more now I am seeing pics. I've only just realised the wheels are very similar to the M coupe!

Enjoy amd post your experience with the car, whats it like to drive etc

Very nice rides, and welcome! How about adding your driving impressions of the e82, seeing you've extensively driven some of BMW's more raw offerings.

Thanks for the 'real world' pic of your 135. Thus far, the assorted car show pics posted here have typically distorted the car's lines, not really conveying the essence of the thing. Based on this image, I too, like it's 'squatness'. Thanks again.

hmmmm first and foremost it ain't an m car, its not so in your face dynamically, or physically, first impressions it does not feel as fast, but in real world experience,s it is....on roads and areas i know extremely well it is at least as fast as the M's and i can hustle those, i see it as the ultimate Q car within the BMW brand, can't wait to see what the tuners come up with, 4 me it is a cult classic already. the car gets more attention than either the z4 or the M3, but i guess that is down to the rarity, we have a new baby so the z4 had to go and i had to go for something a little more practical, i did have big reservations over the 135 making the grade, and i did see it as a compromise, 4 weeks on i could not be happier,

Hey tony22b, I have to questions for you:

1. Is your 135 equiped with an oil cooler?

2. I don't suppose you have a 22b in your stable, do you? (if so, you MUST provide pics ASAP)

Man the black on black looks amazing. The more I think about, the sedona red was the worst color to introduced this car in. Every other color just transforms the styling 10-fold.

tony22b: I'd love to hear your personal feedback on how the 135i feels in terms of handling and chassis composure compared to the //M Coupe. Congrats on the 1-er by the way, looks great!

it is indeed metallic black sapphire, and yes i did own a 22b along with several other scoobies, the handling on the 135i is a lot softer than on the M's, i thought id miss the z4 but in reality the 135i for me at least is a better and more rounded car, not sure of the runflat tyre's, and the weather in the UK is pretty dire at the moment, so the opportunities to push the car are ltd, plus its only done 600 miles, but have to say I'm very happy with the car and that i was very skeptical on purchase, the power delivery is a lot more gentle on the 135, giving the impression that its slower, in 1st gear at least, i suspect the electronics rain in the power, cause from 2nd onwards it pulls like a train,

had a look under the bonnet today and there is not a lot of space to see or identify what coolers are what, too difficult to see what pipes feed what, but there appears to be a rad, a cooler for the aircon, two intercoolers ! and on top of the large intercooler that sits in front of the rad and aircon cooler there is a 3 inch wide cooler and id guess this is indeed the oil cooler .....
