Reset Throttle?
What does turning the ignition on, engine off, and pressing the throttle all the way to the floor, holding it for 30 sec, do? If I just drive normally, aggressively, Sport button on/off, gear shift sport/manual should I reset it once in awhile?

Yes. I think of it as the car "gettting in to bad habits". I found that one can't drive so agresively all the time so as to keep the "programming" from creeping into bland mode.
So. I do the reset often. Whenever I think of it. |

As I was watching the Bavauto video on waterpump replacement, they do this to reset the waterpump also. Gets the fluids moving apparently.

Where is this bavauto video? youtube or their website. Also is this throttle reset 20 or 30 sec, I have had two e90's and now an e82 and I've never heard of this reset. I've searched on e90post and came up empty and there are a lot more e90's on the road. Not that I'm doubting it but is there some sort of indication like a chime or something. I have heard from day one that the computer "learns" your driving style just never heard of this reset.
