It's an endlessly quotable movie:

"if things go well I might be showing her my oh face...oh oh oh...you know what I'm talkin about......"

question about front plate

got a question. How come you guys have no plates on the front and no holes in the front bumper. Like i have this ugly black license plate holder put in by the dealer when i first got my car. I think they drilled a hole in order to place the holder.

I told Tulley not to drill, I had a special bracket that required no visible holes, and they didn't drill.

Generally, if you ask nicely, they'll oblige.

A more hardline tactic is to refuse delivery until the front plate holes are gone, if they've already mounted it....

It's a 2006 that's just out of warranty on milage, which is a real plus when you have the mod bug. I bought is for about $5k less than the 135 sold for. It's currently getting TC Kline coilovers, Delrin front control arm and rear trailing arm bushings, an H&R front sway bar, stainless brake & clutch lines, a little exhaust work, chip and an inspection II. Now I just need to get the concrete slab in my garage to warm up so I can stand to work out there.

This group is more active than the M3 board, which is why I've stuck around. I will actually make it to dinner one of these days. I'm also hoping to make it to a couple of auto-x events this spring.

Mike

I told them I would not buy the car if the front plate was put on the car. So far ive got a warning about it, but got a speeding ticket instead
