Thanks! Excellent coverage, you're the man. Oh, the red Audi S7 was labeled a RS5. I'll be at the next show in 2013.

No. I was just too busy trying to see everything. Plus I drove 2.5 hours to be arrive in time at Frankfurt with traffic. Maybe one of these years. They had a special halle - where you entered the building and they have cars inside - on a closed slow speed test track. I also saw many electric cars that you could drive... they had electric and hybrid courtesy cars that would drive you from one end of teh show to the other (only on press day) and then out in back of the BMW halle... they had an off road course set up to drive many SUV's from all the German marks and some JEEPs and Chryslers. lol

I also saw a few parking courses set up... where you could test the "automatic" parking aids on the new Fords and VW's - I think Valeo and Contential makes that system. And then BMW had thier motorcycle stunt team doing wheelies and stoppies outside as well. Its a really cool show. IF you take a really big car show in the states like Detroit or LA or NYC - multiply that by ten = and you have the Frankfurt IAA show. It is a huge event. You really need days to see everything.

Man, Germany looks like just an awesome place to live especially if you're an Auto enthusiast. Plus the Germans seem to know how to run a country properly.

I can just move there??

Such an amazing show. I was able to go to the first trade day while I was on European Delivery. After I get my photos uploaded to Flickr or where ever I decide to put them all I will add some to the post.

A few interesting videos from BMW TV (Germany). Sorry that they are in German. But it gives you a "feel" for the IAA and the BMW display area/hallle.

It is a fun place and yes they know how to run a country. the best part is the Autobahn and the Ring especially for us BMW owners.
