actually i think i may just go with these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E...Q5fAccessories

they are cheaper, already have the caps installed, and look like they would only take 5 mins to install

Nice... let us know how that turns out! I will stick with the GB for now. Just knowing if I had a problem, Alex would take care of you.. can't say the same for ebay sellers...

very similar to the WLs, you shouldnt have to mess w/ the caps though, the bulb is just a straight plug-n-play

Aren't those the RD lights that used to be for sale from vendors a year or so ago? From what I remember the light output was poor and barely visable. I would search through thread using "Racing Dash" or "RD" angel eyes.

6K is more white, but you can barely tell the difference.

8000K has a small touch of sky blue. 10,000K is a darker blue

Alex, put me in for one with caps please. I will need your guidance on temperature though.

Last weekend I installed a set of LED strip lights (right where fogs would normally be), very similar to the Audi S6 (in fact made by Hella). I will try to take some pics both during the day and at night. I would like to have the AEs match the LEDs as closely as possible.

The LEDs have a clear white to perhaps a very slight blue hue to them. It's a fairly long strip (9 LEDs on each side). Since it's curved and follows the bumper line, when viewed from straight on they are less bright (which is good) and from say a 30 degree angle they really shine in bright white. What temprature do you think would complement them well?

you can always swap out the bulbs for a different color temp later on if you get tired of them, they're pretty cheap too IIRC they're ~ $25-$30 depending on what clolor temp.
