Tire Pressures
First nice day in NJ today and I reset tires all the way around.
Tag on the door says 39 front, 41 back. Seemed high compared to my previous Z4 with sport pkg, but i set them this way and car handles great. Does this sound right? I guess you can't go wrong with matching the tag spec, but any help is appreciated. It's a lease so I do the runflats. Never bothered me that much on the Z. Thanks |

As long as you go onto what the side tag said you should be fine. The only difference is if you drive over 130 then should be a few more psi over. When did you get yr 1er?

recent thanksgiving.
drove it weekly all winter to keep it fresh on dry days. now a daily driver. today was an awesome day. went out to the Sands casino in bethlehem pa and drove a winding ride back. it's an awesome car. even better than my Z4 which was tough to beat. |

Great, that is around the same time when I picked my 2010 from my dealer. If the 1er convertible is a hard top I'd definitely get it but always afraid of the bird crap (when the top is down) & some a.hole might cut it open & steal my stuffs inside the car. Sorry, is my honest opinion hope is not gonna scare you. But nothin beats a top down sunny sky cruising down the freeway. Word!!!

I dont' worry so much like i used too, but it could happen.
prefer the soft top as there is a trunk in the 1er that the 3 does not have. love the top down so much don't think i can go back. |
