will these wheels work with 225/255 widths or is that not ideal?

Yes,

They will work with 225/255 tires. I would only do that if you haven't purchased tires yet as you can fit more without any issues. If you have to move tires from another set of wheels, then yes it's very much doable. Many people run 225/40/18 on 8.5's and 255/35/18's on 9.5's.

Is a 5mm spacer in the rear necessary to run a 265 tire like the new mich pss's with this wheel? Or is that just to line right up with the fender? Just curious, with say a 265 PSS in the rear with the 62 offset, how much room is there between the tire and inside fender/strut? Has anyone taken any lined up pics of the wheel/tire in the front with these? Just interested if they poke outside the fenders a little like I felt my past vmr 18x8.5 et45 710's did..

No spacer is required on the rear to run a 265/35/18 super sport. Another member has that very same setup. 245 front (with camber plates) and 265 rear.

I saw you post in some of the other threads since you posted this, so you've probably seen the available photos of the 8.5" et45 fit, which has been a non issue for everyone.

I may actually be interested in the arc-8's for my summer wheels which really ii shouldve gotten a month ago but no monies. Will likely also be going with atleast partial M suspension bits as well, least the in the front so that add's a touch of camber up front anyhow, I certainly wouldnt run a 245, but will a 235 PSS up front require camber plates or will it rub under hard turning and bumps, even without the m suspension bits?

P.S. We need to get a damn GB for these ARC's going again, i want them, but $300+ a wheel that doesnt have any real concavity is a lil rich for me =\

A 235/40/18 PSS will not need camber plates up front to fit. The 235/265 combo will fit fine.

I can't believe the tire widths that fit without extra camber and/or fender rolling. Definitely designed for this cars crazy offsets. Now just some concavity and were all set.

You can't have concavity and a high offset. It's just not physically possible to have both. Additionally, concavity takes away from big brake clearance and we would quickly run into the possibility of not being able to clear an aftermarket caliper. These wheels are a function over form design, so working properly has been prioritized over a few aesthetic details.

They're wide, light, correct offset, available in multiple colors, and in stock unlike a lot of other stuff out there.

Thanks for the interest though
