HUGE wheel + tire sale - Enkei, D-Force, APEX ARC-8, Nevoa, StarSpec, Toyo & Hankook
We have tons of spares we need to get rid of. Our place is starting to look like a tire shop and I need to clear some space. APEX ARC-8 18x8.5 +38 18x9.5 +62 -Stain Black Hankook RS3 245/40/18, 265/35/18 -Tires have 20 miles on them. 20 minutes of use. SOLD Enkei NT03 silver: 18x8.5 +38, 18x9.5 +57 Hankook 245/40/18 & 265/35/18 - Tires have 20 miles on them. 20 minutes of use. SOLD D-Force EmPower 18x8.5 +41 all around - silver Dunlop Direzza Star Spec Z1 255/35/18 all around - these tires were shaved prior to use so tire wear seems lower than it really is. 7 track days on these tires. SOLD APEX ARC-8, silver 18x9 +41 18x9.5 +62 - Silver. Hankook RS3 265/35/18 & 285/35/18 - 20 miles on these tires. Wheels & tires are 5 days old. SOLD Yokohama Neova AD08 255/35/18 & 265/35/18 - 4 track days on these tires. Approx 200 miles on these tires. Tires are dismounted. $500 OEM Sport Package 18" wheels with TPMS, & OEM runflats. 18x7.5, 18x8.5 Tires have 100 miles on them and are essentially brand new. SOLD Hankook RS3 245/40/18 & 265/35/18 - Set #1, 20 miles on these - SOLD Hankook RS3 245/40/18 & 265/35/18 - Set #2, 20 miles on these - $400 Toyo R1R 255/35/18 & 265/35/18 - used but with decent tread - FREE - local pickup only. Toyo R1R 255/35/18 - two tires only - brand new - $400 One single Falken RT-615 275/35/18 mounted on a prototype D-Force Empower wheel - $50. Tire is brand new. WHEEL CANNOT BE USED. IT IS A PROTOTYPE THAT WE MACHINED THE HUB DOWN TO TEST FOR OFFSET. The wheel will make for a great coffee table base. Use this for the tire only, again wheel is not safe to use! You mentioned in a Tire thread i think that you felt the Star Specs, AD08's and RS3's were the only street tires worth a damn. Can i ask what it was about the R1R's that you didn't like that you left them off the list? Also, since you have them side by side, how do the R1R's width compare with the Star Specs for 255/35/18?

The R1R is a pretty good tire, it's up there with the kings of UHP summer tires but is just a bit older technology wise as it is the "oldest" tire of the bunch and they haven't made a revision to it in several years. R1R's run narrower than all of them, more of a correctly labeled tire. |

Will the Yoko tires set you have fit the D-force Empower wheels set? or the maybe the Hancook RS3's are better match?

The Empower's barely fit on our rear. The 255 rear is still a bit of a stretch fitment wise but worked fine for us at our ride height and alignment. Others have used the much wider 9.5 EmPower rears and got that to work on a street car.
