+1
I have the HKS SSQV. Everyone loves it. I installed over 25000 miles ago and still is leak free.

You mean it sounds softer?

I think it still sounds pretty high pitched. Im bought the purple insert with my pipe, should be here soon.

I got the purple guy cuz it sounded a lil less high frequency then without so we'll see

P.S. The one I ordered is the V3 and has the red insert..wonder if I should just keep that..

We take out the HKS insert on a lot of setups. It gets rid of the whistle sound, and only takes a sec to remove.

and with the adapter and recirc. kit there is no sound.

Sorry if im off, but why in the hell would you want a recirculater for a BOV setup....isnt that the whole point of the BOV, to do away with the shit recirculation that is the Diverter valves, and instead BLOW OFF the excess boost pressure which gives you faster spool and torque?

Everything from start to finish. I'm a complete rookie but this is something I want to learn how to do rather than pay someone to do it. It's also handy to know incase it needs to be removed between service intervals etc.
