Honestly what did you expect? Also if the difference is less than $100 a month then you had planned you honestly couldn't afford the car in the first place.

Suck it up and make the best purchase of your life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So what did you think you would pay to buy a brand new first ever limited production highly anticipated model with a weak US dollar?

I am very sorry for you and hope you can still make it work, but come on guys everyone should have known they will not be discounting this car...at least not until there are some actually sitting on the lots for months, and I don't see that happening for years if they keep the allocations low.

Again I hope you can make it work somehow, you have been a great member on the site. If not, please make sure a true
enthusiast gets it.

Thanks Temple! i appreciate that. I wish i could buy it out right but i am not in the financial position to do that.

I wasnt expecting a discount at all, and being in the business at one point, i understand the numbers. But i think a .00310 MF coupled with a 58% residual is horrible. But i am not debating that. I was looking for 62% coupled with a .00210 MF maybe. In either case i think its a BMW mistake and this will only improve the 3 series sales now.

I can lease a 08 G37S, nav pack., prem, and sport for 510/month with little down. And thats a 44,000 car.

this really annoys me that BMW corp. has their nose this high in the air

I agree on the G37 lease rates. VERY competitive, pretty nice car. If I were looking at a 335i, I'd have to give that car serious consideration.

I understand your choice, I hope you end up with something you like.

I don't keep cars for more than 2 or 3 years either but I will still finance. Hopefully I can hang onto this car. I expect to be around $700 a month with $5500 down on an $40K car. I hope to got interest rates will not be higher than 5.9% for 60 mths. G37 is nice and it was on my list.

the price point does not make sense to me.
for the price of 128 i can get 328 with ED pricing.
ED is not available as ED price break.
:-(

but once it is, it will be a good choice.
