Nice wheels - literally. I'm really not sure how easy it would be to add back as much light as you need in the pics. It might be simpler to just take more pics. Just remember to use a flash or other source of light for the foreground. If you look at all of the professionally made 1-series pics, you'll notice that they use a lot of extra lighting on the car itself, especially if the background is imposing like yours. You want the car to be the brightest thing in the field, after all, it's the main attraction.

dont think i wil add a spoiler on it. Like it the way it is. Carbon diffuser, exhaust and splitters are the only plans for it.
It looks like i get to buy back my old E30 this weekend so that will be the track car for the near future i think. The best thing about the e30 is that it has the exact same colour as this one! Painted it lemansblue when the e39 m5 got that colour.

The reason the car is so dark in some of the photos is because the light source (the sky) is much brighter than how illuminated the subject is, or, because the sun is in front of you rather than behind you. Shots like this are tricky and require different metering (try spot metering) along with a tripod, greater aperture and longer exposure times. You could even fool around with some HDR shots (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_dynamic_range_imaging). Experiment a bit - it's fun!
