Has anyone painted or wrapped intake manifolds before?
I got a n52 intake manifold with DISA that will arrive soon.
Thinking if I should paint it in a blue or red or even silver. Or wrap it in DEI Reflect a gold heat film liek so: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8299/7...e1f5ab1a_b.jpg My car is Blue. Any suggestions on paint & prep welcome

I have heard of something called hydro-graphing or hydro-painting it may be a better way to go. It chemically implants color onto a surface and heat and oil wont effect it.
