Has anyone painted or wrapped intake manifolds before?

I got a n52 intake manifold with DISA that will arrive soon.

Thinking if I should paint it in a blue or red or even silver.

Or wrap it in DEI Reflect a gold heat film liek so:

Any suggestions on paint & prep welcome

I have heard of something called hydro-graphing or hydro-painting it may be a better way to go. It chemically implants color onto a surface and heat and oil wont effect it.

very cool idea, i think its better for trim pieces as an alternative to vinyl wrap. Select few patterns would look good on an engine part
