Looks awesome! I hope spudwest sees the thread, he was practically begging for pics of the 128.
I am keeping the sport wheels. I like the way they look.

I think the wheels look great. I'd like to get ahold of then for my winter set up.

I was concerned about the sport package wheels for the 128. I didn't like the way they looked on the configurator at all. I was also disappointed that BMW didn't include 18" wheels with ZSP. I couldn't really pop for the optional 18s from BMW (that was half of the price jump to a 135!), so I was shopping around to see what else was available. However, when I got to the dealer Monday and saw the car -- let's just say no more worries. They're awesome! Love 'em! They look WAY BETTER in person than in any photo I've seen -- and I've been scouring everywhere for 128 coupe photos for months. No noticable gap in the wheel wells. 128 buyers who may be concerned about this issue -- don't sweat it.
I'll get more pics up tonight. Interior is black leatherette. Looks great. High gloss black trim is sharp and doesn't appear to be a fingerprint magnet like some had feared. It actually has a slight metallic look to it -- not a solid piano black like we thought. As I've said before on here, I went really easy on the options. ZSP and the iPod adapter were the only options I went for. I don't think this package is bad at all for an MSRP of $30,975.

from what I have been reading white is easy to keep clean.....unless you decide to drive it in the mud...it stays alot cleaner than darker colors....but the best color to hide dirt would be silver i believe

2 picture requests: can you get a good low angle of the front end? I don't think I've seen a close up of the front on the 128i - also a good close up of the piano black, maybe the shifter - I'm debating the $500 gray wood opt... Great looking car! Thanks! |

my X5 is AW and you can only see the dirt when you're really close to it, otherwise it always looks great. i ended up getting the 128i in Black Sapphire, even tho i know it's gonna be a pain to keep clean just because it looked so great at the dealer. but these pics of an AW 128i is starting to make me regret the choice.... nice car!

i like the regular wheels more than the sport pack wheels, Maybe because the spokes are thinner. Something about those sport package wheels just doesn't do it for me. Wish we could get the 18's from the 135. those are awesome :iono: |
