New car new mods

Hey guys I just switched over from a 06 530xi to a 2012 135i and it arrives here in a week. I'm not familiar with the 1 series mods at all nor the new N55 engine so what doe you guys suggest (It is a lease though so stealth mods!)

Not sure about the N55, but I did intake, JB4 and a nice methanol kit, and my car made 381wheel hp and 405 wheel torque. That's enough to smoke lots of cars.

BMS literally JUST released a N55 version of the JB+. Not only is it the ultimate stealth mod (no messing with the ECU, unplugs and doesn't throw codes at default setting), but on the N55 it's even easier to install than on the N54. It's literally a 10 second install on N55. So jealous.

Instant 50/60 hp/tq gain. Just like that. While it doesn't throw codes on default setting, even on the maximum setting I have never gotten a code from it.

You can always get an intake and exhaust and keep the originals. Intake and exhaust (as long as its midpipes and axleback, not DPs) don't affect warranty, and if you keep the components they're pretty easy DIY's (though you need ramps or jacks for the exhaust).

Other than that, any BMW performance part must surely be okay to put on a lease.. right? And Shadowline grilles and replacement angel eye bulbs are easy and do a lot aesthetically.

The JB+ for N55 is a bit under 300 bucks: http://burgertuning.com/N55_BMW_jbplus.html

There is no JB4 for the N55, but there IS a JB3 version for 100 dollars more: http://burgertuning.com/N55_Jb_BMW_P...nce_Tuner.html

Jb3 doesn't have some of the features of the JB4, but is a more powerful tune than JB+. It's still easily reversible, but since it requires you messing with the ECU compartment, it's really not as plug-n-play or as stealth as the JB+. The JB+ pretty much just messes with the parameters controlled by the TMAP sensor. the JB3 is more comprehensive and adjusts many more parameters, so it's a more across the board tune.

Vishnu also has the procede tune out for N55 for much more money, about $645. It's even more comprehensive and has even more features, but has a similar overall bump in power. Also requires ECU access. Still reversible in about 30 minutes to an hour, just like the JB3, depending on how much you're used to the whole routine, but still not as easy as the JB+

So, I'm about 2000 miles into my 135i (2011), and that JB+ does look awesome. All you do is plug it in as shown in that video and it it's undetectable back at the dealership?

Will the JB+ be improved to a stage 2 anytime soon (for the N55)?
