Best color to go with carbon fiber parts??

Hey gang,

Im getting really close to ordering my car. Im just having trouple finalizing my color choice. Narrowed down to AW, SGM, and Silver. To make my choice even more complicated, I really like some of the carbon fiber stuff, but I want the look to stay somewhat discrete and classy, in other words, not rice.

I think the SGM would look cool with maybe the CF spoiler and mirrors becaue it would be sort of subtle, from 30 feet away it would all sort of blend together, but as you look closer at the car the CF details would sort of come out. The white and silver look pretty good with the CF spoiler, but i think if you went for much more than just the spoiler it could start to look a little fast and furious.

I think the Montego blue might look good with a touch of CF as well.

So what do you guys think? What color would be most "enhanced" with a little CF here and there.

Ryan

I'd say white or a dark color, such as black (duh).

red...... i was going AW but since everyone and there mom is going that direction then i'm going to get a non-metalic red instead, the black of the carbon fiber will stand out the same with a red back ground compaired to a white one.

Frankly, I like the CF on all colors with the possible exception of cashmere silver and blue water metallic. CF on SGM is indeed subdued and elegant whereas on TiAg and AW, it is more flashy and sporty. CF on Montego Blue is somewhere in between. It depends on how much of a visual statement you would like your car to emit. Do you like to be under the radar or on the radar?

If you want it to stand out, go with AW or silver. Despite my early objections to CF on Montego, Jeremy's car looks great. Just depends how much you want it to stand out...lighter colors will stand out more, darker will be more subdued...

SGM... looks natural and factory-added.
Other colors... Depending upon color, looks more like dealer add-on or a DYI.
They're all OK... Go with your preference.

Either SGM for the subtle difference or AW for the contrast, IMO.

Hey Ryan,

I will be just down the road from you in a few weeks(Hilton Head/Savannah area) and I should be making a trip to Atlanta to pick up my ride then. It is at the dealer right now getting the CF mirrors and Spoiler added...along with a couple of other things. If you have not ordered by then I will send you a PM and maybe we could meet up when I come up to Charleston to go to the mall (GF coming from Malta and she is gonna want to shop!). Cheers!

SGM for the more elegant and subtle look. White if you want to announce yourself. Either or though, still great. Just long as you don't over do it.
