I've posted this pic before, but just throwing it up to illustrate the difference - if you have the supporting mods to make it look like the diffuser isn't an afterthought, I think it works very well. Just a quick note - the "carbon look" on this diffuser is a carbon hydrodip pattern and it looks pretty terrible imo. I had to end up spraying it so that it didn't look so dumb.

Are those side skirt splitters custom??? really makes the reiger diffuser line "even"

Yep- I made them. I didn't like the lines with the diffuser in the back and the front lip. It looked unfinished.

Those were different splitters.

here's a side profile that sort of shows the line from the front lip back toward the diffuser.

Sure.

Buy the product

Remove your skide skirts

put the skirts on top of the product and trace the outline of the inside of the skirt

use a cutting device to cut the product to fit the contour of the skirt

cut/mold the product to the length required and round out the outside ends of you so choose

paint the product

use whatever mounting method you prefer- i suggest double stick tape and self tapping screws at the very least, otherwise look into possibly buying a very thin piece of sheet metal which you can affix to the top of your newly formed diffuser using a bunch of glue or epoxy and then drill a hole in it small enough to fit the pressure clips that pop in the bottom of the skirt

mount the skirt back on your car with the product attached

thats it

Nice, been wondering if there was a CSL style trunk available for the 1er. It was always on my list of must-dos for when i was shopping for a E46M. Glad to see some pics of how it looks on a 1.

Looks great! I'm actually planning to buy the same trunk. We're you able to get the license plate leds to work? Also are the U.S. plate holes predrilled? I was told I needed to pick it up at the airport(ordering a hood as well)...only thing that's holding me back since it's about a 2 hour drive with traffic one way and finding a truck I can use for the day
