Finally!
This is it guys! That last picture is a FINAL coupe design! I put my hands in fire! If you compare the camo spyshots side by side with this last magazine picture, you will see that EVERYTHING matches!
I've been browsing around for quite some time here but this is it! This is a premiere of the new slick coupe!:rocks: Yeah, color sucks, rims too, but overall - GREAT. VERY different from VERY average looking sedan! :rocks: |

That would be correct, Will Robinson. They took some of the coupes that have been spotted with minimal camo and PShopped them. Simple as that. Still NO official info/pics for the coupe.

Coupe
SpeedFreak, what is minimal camo in your understanding? If they took those spyshots, then it's even better! We have an almost true, almost official image there! I can bet anything the coupe is gonna look like that !
Plus there are several programs out there that can "take off" the camo, leaving the structure of the object exposed! Then you just put some paint and details! Does it affect overall design? Not a bit! Again, compare the camo version with magazine, everything matches! The conclusion - that is the closest ever image of a new COUPE, so far! Not official, no, but in my opinion the official would be 95% the same! And that's just great! |

The reason I suspect the Italian magazine image is probably fake is the side skirts don't match the actual spy photos. Rather, they look more like the skirts from the recent magazine renderings.

My opinon at this point in time (and going on the spy shots we have seen so far) is that I think the E90 looks better than the E92. BUT it may change once the finished product is released. However, I'm having doubts.
I think everyone has this notion that the E92 is expected to look better and cooler than the E90...it just might not be the case this time round....we'll have to wait and see. I may have to eat my words... |

The B-pillar in that latest pic also looks very different from the ones in the other coupe spy pics.

If I had to guess... and this is just SPECULATION... I would say the last pic is as close as ever to the finished product. Not yet official... but the hood and the grill look like they could be right on. I can't wait to see the real deal.

closest image
In my opinion the italian magazine is CLOSER to reality then german shot for two main reasons:
#1. Lights: if you check the headlights on the italian image you can see that they sit deeper, or lower... They just look more correct on the first image, more real. #2. Cabin: Check out the side windows. You will see that on german (second) image, the windows are way too small. Almost not usable... Imagine youself in that tight thing... Doesn't look right huh? But on the first image it's more natural, more ergonomic, or what ever the word is. In other words again - looks more CORRECT. Again i put my vote for the italian magazine. It's the REAL thing coming to us in advance! :rocks: |

W/ out doubt the mag is obviously more close because it's the more well done of the two p-shops. I have a feeling though that the E92 will out shine the E63/4, however bad or good that is I don't care, I'm a 3er size kinda guy.

i also think that the photo from the italian magazine is a real photo. If thats the case, this coupe looks really bad.
I thought the e92 coupe would be great and something special but this one look cheesy and japan-style i will get an M5 then |

Based on everything we've seen, if that's not it, it's damn close.
I really want to see the official version clearly and from a few different angles before I decide how it looks. It's about what I expected and it looks similar to the E-90, but with a sportier roofline. Do any of us really expect anything much dramatically different than that? Hopefully we'll get some real photos soon. Weren't there rumors that we should have seen it by now? Anyone have any ideas what's going on? |

I think (and really hope!) they are both photoshop creations based on the spy photos we've been seeing. The parts that just don't look right to me just happen to be the covered spots in the spy shots, so I have my fingers crossed. I've been waiting for the coupe for awhile now, and if this is it... yikes! I'm not sure what to do.
Anyway, the front headlights in the Italian shot are what give it away for me: the car is pointed one way, but the lights themselves are pointing another! It's somewhat subtle, but the lights/bulbs (not the entire headlight unit) seem to be pointing almost directly to the left, while the car itself pointed to the left but also somewhat towards the viewer. So they don't seem aligned, hence maybe a stiching of photos... Also, the way the entire headlight assembly fits the car seems a little off. I'd guess someone took the body shots from the spy photo and used the outline through the cladding to slap on some lights and a grill... Or its just wishful thinking because from these shots, the coupe looks boring... |

Hmmm! those rims are the same as the 7 series photoshop thread. No way a serie 3 coupe will have the same rims as a 7 series. So for me, a photoshop. May be a really accurate one, but still a shop
