Where do you put your loose change?
So I keep a decent amount of loose change in my car for parking meters. Problem is, wherever I put this change its moving around making lots of noise when I'm taking turns, etc. Anybody here have a smart solution to storing their loose change noise free?

Center console, I don't have an ash tray.

Tried those, change still sliding around everywhere...
Maybe I should put the change in a ziploc bag and then put it in the center console. Now I'm putting that college education to work! |

In actuality I don't store any change in my car because I rarely use meters and most of them take cards now anyway.

I keep microfiber cloths in my car for wiping down smudges, etc. You can put one in the tray and that will keep things from sliding around; put it on top, push it down and see if that works -- plus keeps it out of view of meth-heads.

That's exactly what I was going to tell you to do. I carry a lot of change for the same reason and the plastic bag seems to work like a charm!

I have mine in an old 35mm film cannister in my ash tray. It only holds so much but there is no clinking sound.

I used to put mine in the center console but now I charge my iphone in there. I put the coins in the slot just under the steering wheel. It has a rubber matte in it so the coins don't move around too much.

American wallets are NOT designed like European wallets. No "change purse" built in like the euro ones. What a shame. Alot of the euro ideas are better than what we Ami's have to deal with as the norm.

ashtray works for me. I seldom need change but when I do the ashtray holds enough for me.

Ash tray but I do not carry much change in the car. In the past when I needed it for parking I used a plastic medicine bottle.

Get yourself a very small lens pouch from a camaera store. Then you have a cool classy leather 'bag' that is cushioned to absorb sound and never scratch anything in the car.
