DP installation

Has anybody attempted to do a DP replacement on aussie 135i? Have tried to work off the notes from otehr installs but struggling with getting the o2 sensor behind the piping next to the steering rack. Any info on how-to and tools would be much appreciated.

STOP RIGHT THERE. DON'T DO IT.
What Dp's do you have? Most have an issue with the rear turbo o2 bung. It will need to be relocated.

I have the DP's from AR. They assued me this is a good fit? Have the DIY information but these were done on US cars where there is enough room to get in there and loosen the sensors.

I'm about to do this, infact I was going to do it myself today. I dont believe the AR's need the bungs relocated.

I didn't do the install myself, but my AR downpipes fit without any issues.

I'm looking at getting my 2nd had ARs (removed from a local 335), ceramic coated before getting someone who's done it before to install them. Hopefully in the next few weeks.

Is that Adrian? How you going?

I got mine done at bps in Cleveland, they charged $500.

I know other guys have had it done at Accelerate Automotive in Coopers Plains who do awesome work, think they do it for $400.

There is a fair bit of labour due to the cramped install.

I wouldn't attempt it myself, not worth the skin on your fingers or the effort required.

ARE YOU DRIVING TO THE INSTALLERS WITHOUT DOWNPIPES AT ALL? I want to hear your car.

I gave it my best shot. Went as far as modifying a 7/8 spanner (shortened and grinded) and still could not get enough room to loosen this. Let me know how you go as I'm still keen to have a crack at it. I don't like loosing
