Maybe after a flury of purchases of the rear valance they will make a matching front splitter.

For sure. I don't think they expected this to be so popular, I bet other vendor's wish they'd made one sooner.

Im curious to know what this one looks like.... My 1er is Space gray, hence I'm considering the "CF look" one, but don't want it to blend into the color of the bumper.

It should be much darker than your bumper with a different type of gloss.

Typical CF weaves/styles blend into black better than grey.

Im sure that's the case, but I just want to be sure, since in the majority of the pictures the CF style one seem to be a little on the lighter colour side... almost a little greyish...

Yea- it's definitely hard to tell with their "cf-like" coating.

The carbon is actually really nice; I thought it was going to be all matte and dark but its fairly common looking carbon; the packaging was quite professional and even has a plastic coating that needs to be peeled off;

I wish they would have flared the exhaust opening a little. How strong is the opening at either side of the pipes?

Just posted this in another thread, but I thought I'd put the pics here too:

Finally got mine fitted to my AW today. I got Rieger to leave the plastic in the middle, rather than having the mesh. I prefer it this way as I didn't like being able to see the top of the muffler through the mesh (and that big-ass red Rieger sticker!).

Z1---I think that you should keep the one you have. While the faux CF is decent lookig I was never a fan of the fake stuff.

+1 - I don't personally like "fake" things. Either it's real CF or no CF for me.

Either that, or you could carbon-wrap it, if you have no issues with it not being real CF.

Yeah, priorities! I'd be getting itchy fingers if I had that sat waiting to go on!

Here's a few more pics taken with my phone using HDR mode - makes the diffuser easier to see and more like how it looks in person. The camera struggles to correctly expose the image when the car is bright white and the diffuser is dark black

Will throw some more pics up later because my awful work computer isn't playing nicely with Photobucket at the moment so I can't get them all up.

And you can even see it a little from the side
