Accessories are available for the E91

I don't have any part numbers, and there is no catalog or brochure available yet, but many of the E91 accessories are now available in the U.S.

Of course, without the catalog it's hard to know what exists and what you might want, but for example I wanted the rear cargo mat and I was able to place an order for it yesterday.

If you are one of the few U.S. wagon owners looking for accessories (like E24) you should call your dealership parts department. I'll try to get some info about part numbers, etc. if I can.

Looking for the rear cargo mat as well. Can you give me the PN? How much did you pay for it?

I don't know the part number yet, but it was $70 I think. I'll try to get the part number soon.

Are you considering buying a snowboard rack that attaches to the roof LEDZEP? If you know on hand, how much $'s would this cost? I need this item because I forgot to get the rear folding seat option also known as the Cold Weather Package.

I think you're confusing accessories. The ones I'm talking about are for the E91 - the wagon. I think the current accessories catalog for the E90 should have that snowboard thingy... Part # 82729405860 @ $129.00.

E91 Cargo Mat Part # and E91 Accessories

This is the part number they listed on my order for the cargo mat:
51-47-0-402-412 with a list price of $98. I paid $56 because they quoted me that price but later realized it was the mat for a 1 series. I had negotiated 20% off list and dealer has a "standing" coupon of 15% off list.

It took them a while to get other accessories straight, but I got the roof rack (different from E90 because we have rails). Part number is 82-71-0-394-018 Cross Members which had a list price of $240.50 and I paid $156. Again, they misquoted the price and gave me a 1 series rack. I understand the bike, snowboard,... racks for E90 all fit. The bike rack I got does fit (they got that part right).

Note, be wary of "list prices". I've noted that the list prices at my dealer are sometimes much higher than the catalog list prices and then they "discount" them to catalog price (e.g., $49.60 per chrome exhaust tip which we all know is $32 and I had to negotiate for $32 less my 15% coupon). Parts department isn't too happy with me (or my SA) as my SA showed them prices from a couple of other dealers and then he got me matching prices. I quote the parts manager, "You have to understand we're not the not-for-profit division of the dealership."

I too asked about an accessory catelog at BMW Ann Arbor and was told "no idea". They said, for example, they don't know when an alarm will be available since their isn't a place for the motion sensor in the roof and others may be slow especially in U.S. given few wagons purchased.

My dealer found the alarm for my E91. It was installed prior to delivery. About 4 months ago. It works perfectly and has all appropriate pieces. I could have them look up the part(s) numbers or possibly Led Zep has them handy. Don't recall whether or not he purchased the alarm. You can find quite a few of the part numbers by paying a visit to www.realoem.com. It helped me quite a bit with some odd items I wanted for the E91 (parts for CD-changer install, etc.).

I have the alarm, but I don't know if all the part numbers are on my invoice. I can check. They had to get mine flown in from Germany, but hopefully by now they are available.

There still is no brochure just for E91 accessories to my knowledge. Most of the E90 parts are the same of course, except for wagon specific items like cargo mats, etc. The alarm is different as I've mentioned before so be carful with that one.

I'm looking for the cargo mat that flops out and over the bumper. I saw it on a UK website once, and can't find it again. They have it for the 5-series wagon, but not for the U.S. Market for the 3 series.

Anyone seen what I'm looking for?

Thanks - Was more out of curiousity so don't bother with the part numbers. I'll look at realoem. Just confirms that the SA and parts dept manager at BMW of Ann Arbor are not on par with my CA. Did I mention that the SA "forgot" my loaner on my first service visit but did put me 1st in the queue.

Not a very smooth move regards your SA. I would love to see pics of your red E91. If already posted - point me to them. I am remiss in that I haven't posted pics of my car. It's an E91 in Arctic. Just look at Led Zeps Touring/Wagon and photoshop it to look a hell of a lot better than his. You have my car in a nutshell. Sorry LZ - couldn't resist

No sweat E24! I know you've done some things - blacklines, etc. Mine is 100% stock... well, except for the V10 M5 engine I stuck under the hood.

Lack of support by BMW NA for the touring is frustrating.

Hey suzer,

what you are looking for is part of the storage compartment package in europe. It comes with the 'flip floor', with carpet on the one and a unfoldable rubber mat on the other. You can flop that over hte bumper to prevent scratches. The package also includes a foldable and waterproof box.

Your dealer should be able to get the part no.

Wow - that's it exactly!

Thanks for the help! - I'll see if the parts department at my local dealer can find me one.
