Does it sound like its comin from underneath the car, inside, outside?? Much more info is needed to pinpoint your 'pop'. Auto or manual? Do you put it in 1st or leave in Neutral?

Is it a pop or a sort of electric buzz. Because sometimes when I turn mine off it makes this buzz for a few seconds.

What kind of car do you have? Your signature says 135 EVO. Which one is it that you are asking about? Also - do you have a standard or an automatic?

You question is interesting, but difficult to relate to. A bit like phoning the doctor and saying 'It hurts when I sit down". He or She will need much more information in order to make a diagnosis.

It's probably the electric water pump. It runs to cool down the turbos after the car is shut down.

Yeah, just press the clutch down when turning off. As Monaco35dreams said, the manual says to put in first or reverse when shutting down. So, basically you'll need the clutch down either way.

I believe th pop comes from the movement of the headlights and the dealer explained that the engine shake comes from the turbo flap or something to that effect. I forget the exact explaination.
