Cleaning / Protecting Alcantara
I will be receiving my 1M in about 3 weeks I was wondering what products people are using to clean and protect the Alcantara?
I plan on using Lexol cleaner and conditioner on the leather as well as 303 fabric protector on the carpets. I am just not aware of any products designed to clean and protect the synthetic suede. |

I am vacuuming carefully...that keeps dust layers down. Then a damp microfiber with a little of Griot's Interior cleaner if I sense it needs it. The key is to just keep it clean...not have to scrub it. It's pretty tough stuff, but it ought not be subjected to heavy surfactants. The above works fine. Good luck with it.

I do the same on my 1M... Gentile wipe down with a damp cloth keeps it looking great. Read on another page were a guy with a Audi with alcantra kept it looking great for years with this approach then one day tried some alcantra specific clean on a whim. It ruined his alcantra seat. So I will keep it simple on my car...
