*** BIG MEET/DRIVE-- PENINSULA LOOP (Aug 1st)***

Hi fellow enthusiasts,

I am proposing a BIG drive to start off the summer (a little late).
This drive will consist of driving on Hwy 101 looping through the Olympic National Forests, Port Angeles, continuing through Aberdeen and closing the Peninsula loop on Hwy 12 to Olympia. On the drive you will have a chance to take pix as we will be stopping various scenic points.


Since this is may be a first big drive for some members, it will be a good opportunity for everyone to come out to learn how to cruise together as a team.

** Meeting spot for the west side of the Sound will be at Port Gamble. (GTG time TBA)
This spot is also recommended for those who decide to take the ferry across from the Seattle/Edmund side.

I will be leading the eastern Sound group that wants to drive down and through Tacompton (time/place tba)

Nice Turn out!! I proposed this exact ride back in 2008 and had no takers!! I ended up doing the Drive by myself! It was very fun & Scenic especially as you drive right next to Crescent Lake, absolutely breath taking!

Too bad I will not be able to attend. I'm coming home from Canada that day!

This is a very Long Drive! I did it in about 7 hrs. From Silverdale- Silverdale!

Amazing drive.

I did it in april, got rained out, but it was nice none the less. Wish I could join you guys, but unfortunatly my car is spending all summer in the garage while i am deployed. but I am sending her boxes of car parts to be installed when i get home!!!

If you love your car, you will do this drive and love it even more... trust me

What a good run gents (and lady)!! 400mi and 15hrs of driving is quite the endurance test. It was nice to see old faces as well as meet new ones. I cant help myself from drooling all day to see all the cars that came out yesterday. Thank you to those who have helped to scout, organize and participate to make this a fun drive.

As for those who are new to this type of drive... This is how the OG's use to drive back in its hey days. It involves alot of participations, team-work, respect for the law and others on the road and adrenaline overloads. I hope to bring back and share some of those experiences with everyone.
