Take a look at my log before I buy a PTF etune

Hey all,

Am about to pull the trigger on a ptf etune. But before I do, can someone take a look at the attached log and let me know if things look reasonable? Just want to make sure there isn't something 'major' showing up that may indicate I might have some issues outside of what a custom tune could fix.

Thanks!

This is for stage 2+fmic aggressive. 94 octane. 3rd gear pull with quick shift to 4th.

Even if everything lloked good, or for the sake of the argument, the fuel trims, or something similar was slightly off, the E-Tuning would fix it, and make it better. The OTS maps are pretty conservative and they will be able to improve on an OTS map even if the COBB mapping was perfect. You'll be in good hands...

Ya I know. I just want to know if I had something like, perhaps, a boost leak or some hardware issue I should address first. Though since I'm not throwing any codes, figured I was probably good.

Just looked at it. It looks pretty good. although, you should really data log both banks short terms and long term fuel trims to give a better picture.

Am currently on my 3rd revision of the custom map. Have been having a hard time getting away so I can log this one. I think we are nearing the end of the cycle though.

Map is definitely more smooth, seems more power as well, but honestly hard to say for sure. I didn't have much seat time with the ots cobb map before starting on the custom map. Will go back to the dyno once etune is done.

They are pretty quick. Sometimes within a couple hours of providing logs. A day or so at most.

I've met Jake from PTF a few times. Great guy and always trying to do things right. I give them two big thumbs up! I don't have any of their tunes, but what they've done for my friends here in the local bmw group is pretty amazing.
