BMW Performance Suspension?

Hey guys,

I've got a friend who's looking at buying a 135i. he liked mine so much he decided to get one of his own =) So we were out looking and we came across one that was lowered, but when peaking in it looked as though they were the bmw performance suspension since the springs were yellow. is that typically the sign that it's the BMW performance suspension. Or is there another way of finding out? I'm asking because the seller says it is, but we just want to make sure.

Thanks,

BMW Perf is indeed yellow but I think as are KW's but I don't see why seller would lie and claim it's BMW Perf over something more expensive like KW's. But what's more important is if seller installed springs only or, the entire package (shocks, sway)? Why not just ask for a receipt for the suspension?

Can you buy the springs / shocks separately? We did not realize that. We did ask, but he doesn't have the receipt. And you're right, theres no reason for him to lie. But I thought I'd ask you guys to see if there was a clear sign if its the perf suspension or not.

My performance springs had a little sticky tag on them that said t3 or something like that. You could always check the part number of the dampers.
