BMW Performance Driving School!

I just got a late christmas present, which was a verification note from BMW saying i have a date set for SC to go to performance school. Im pretty familiar with tracking (have a history with shiftercarts) but would like to know if anyone has been to this and what to expect.. im so excited, im going to rip that 3er!

your not really racing. Its more of them teaching you about the cars. Umm they take you on things such as a "skid mat" and turn off your traction control and ask you to try to drive n stuff. ITs pretty cool.

They provide you with a car or do you bring your own?

most classes they provide, i dont even think you can use your own car to be honest.

of course not racing. im aware that you do no use your car. but i wanted to ask if lets say they would give you like a few laps around the track?

they set up an autocross track in a large parking lot for the performance class. There is also a defensive driving class for those under 21. You can also test drive a lot of different bimmers between your classes.
