Menzerna Polishes

Anyone have experience with any of their polishes like super intensive, final finish, super finish? Any of their products even?

I'd like to know what your opinions are on these products!

Menzerna is an awesome product.

I have Power Gloss, SIP, 106FF and PO85RD.

The polishes require some experience, and depending on the conditions of the car the polishes can be really funky. They tend to dust a lot as well.

Menzerna has a problem of 1-flash passing with improper experience. But when you get the technique down they are by far the best polishes on the market.

Perfect. I have experience with some of Megs 105/205. I find that they dust a lot. Do menzerna dust any more than the 105? And what kind of technique do you employ for the polishes? I have the Intensive polish IP and the Final Finish FF coming in the mail. Any pro tips you can give me? haha

It's on topic! Just general menzerna questions. Nice to know because I have yet to get a sealant I'm in love with. I just use collinite 845 wax. (Acts like a sealant though.... durability is great).

I remember reading somewhere on 1Addicts about Menzerna new polishers... they have some micro particles that break down finer and finer as you use a DA to polish the car. Thats how their products(polishers) are designed.

I find that Menzerna likes to dust a lot more than 105...I have used (and still do use) 105/205 and SIP dusts a lot more.

Typically, if the pad isn't primed enough, it will 1-flash pass and you'll notice. It is either a combination of a dry pad, or not enough/too much polish. I've found that Menzerna is a bit more picky than Meguiars polishes, as you need to get this combo just about right to see the positive effects.

Yep, Menzerna Polishes break down as you work them, which makes it pretty darn awesome because on some cars you can use SIP and be done with the car (They have Final Finish which is more marketed towards this...but SIP with a proper pad combo can do the same...almost)

Unlike Meguiars, where you can employ the Kevin Brown method (where you use QD and existing polish on the pad to continue and work the polish) you cannot do this on Menzerna.

Menzerna great products, i use the super intense polish/wax and the FG (fast gloss) 400, great stuff, like mentioned dust a little while applying but once you get the hang of it works wonders

the line is great and just about anything they have will do well on your paint.

I could throw all my detailing products away, and just keep the Menzerna line and be fully satisfied. The polishes are the best I have used. I own SIP, FG400, 203S, 106FF and 85RD. Their Power Lock sealant is really impressive.

Does anyone think that I can layer collinite 845 over the menzerna powerlock sealant? Or is that just overkill and will it change how the paint looks?

I, too, am off-topic. I've used 205 on my 1er (no need for me to be more aggressive, as I wash carefully), followed by 85RD. I really like 85RD, and I am almost out of Meg's 205.

For you Menzerna users, what would be their equivalent to 205? I would be interested in trying it.

From this chart on autogeek, (http://www.auto-geek.net/charts/wax-chart.pdf), It seems like the Menzerna Nano polish or final polish will do the same as 205.

Probably won't enhance gloss or depth or anything but for protection it would help

I tried Full Molecular Jacket and liked it a lot. I switched to chemical guys jet seal just to see if there was something better. I may try the Powerlock next since I think this is the replacement for the FMJ.

Jetseal 109 and Wolfgang are the best sealants around....IMO.

I have been happy with Blackfire Wet Diamond sealant, both on my '09 BSM 128, and my '13 LMB. Wet Diamond looks great, though the longevity isn't super. I don't mind refreshing it once a month, though.

Plus, December-February, the 1er is stored. So, no winter issues.

I'll look at the other sealants when I run out of WD. I've promised myself that I won't buy something new until I run out of something.

I will vote for Collinite 845 if you have to deal with winter. It is what I use on my kids' cars.

No problem! I'm glad I could help a little bit. ahahaha that promise is always broken for me. Always adding detailing stuff for some crazy reason.

That is a good wax, but nano technology these days blow it right out of the water.

You are probably right, but I have too many detailing products that are "half-full." I need to use up more of them. It's hard to preach financial responsibility to one's children if they see the UPS guy constantly delivering packages from Autogeek, etc.
