A couple good action shots of my BSM 135i in the mountains

I organized a Spring mountain drive on March 13th. We had mostly BMWs. Anything from a new Active Autowerke supercharged E90 M3 to turbo E36 M3s. We're setting up a couple more drives this year. I'll post the info in the Southeast regional section when the time comes. The drive took place on the Diamondback Route in North Carolina. Shots were taken by BlindKenny. He waits and snaps pics of cars and bikes in the mountains. I'm going order the high res shots on his site soon.

I was really happy with how my 135i handled on the mountain curves.Felt good to really open it up as I just passed 1200 miles. My car has 15mm front and 12mm spacers in the rear on Eibach Pro-Kit springs and Koni FSD.

I have an album on my facebook page here.

Looks sweet also appears very low for the Eibach Pro-Kit, but can be just me. How long have you had the suspension on the car?

Suspension was installed on Jan 28th 2011. It looks low in the pic because I was taking a right hand curve and the suspension was compressing on the left side. The ride height is very good for daily driving. The front is a pinch lower than the rear - which I like. Gives it a nice aggressive stance!

What's the rationale for putting larger spacers in the front? It seems like most people are either 15/12 or 12/10 - F/R on stock wheels. IMO, I think it should be the other way around

Now that's a road! Seems like everything around here is straight lines filled with potholes. Car looks great as usual. Thanks for sharing!

Mostly aesthetics, but slightly improved handling as well. I wanted a flush stance. The track is slightly wider in the rear, so pushing the front out 3mm more squared it up a bit. The car felt well planted going in and out of corners. Most of the E9X M3 guys runs wider spacers up front with stock wheels as well.

Ahh yes - the ubiquitous youtube anthem song. Corny - I know.

Thanks Dave! I love living this close to some of the best roads in the US. I'll email you some more pics later on.

I guess I will see how it sits in person.. I ordered the same and planned on putting the larger in the rear.. Most pics I have seen on the 1er's with the larger up front (like above) makes it seem like the front is a bit past flush and the rear needs a few mm's.
