There is enough timing advance built into the 91 pump flash to accomodate 92, you will just make slightly more power. |

GIAC worked very hard at this to make this kind of power smoothly and keep the throttle from closing to make power on the top end. You will see with some other tunes even though they make more power, but it's very peaky(looks good only if you are a numbers person) and there is less on top since they can not control throttle closure.

HOLY SMOKES!!
Would it be possible to see a graph with SAE and Smoothing 4, then another with conditions? Could you elaborate on the supporting modifications as well? AMAZING RESULTS!!

It would also be a lot more useful to post results on the same day / dyno session with stock programming. This should have been easily doable with the giac program switching abilities Without that data, the dyno plot is a whole lot less useful and I wouldn't read a ton into it.

The Dynojet numbers was posted at the request of many 1M owners. I am personally fine with Mustang dyno numbers. |

My planned hardware upgrades include, mad-dad midpipe, FMIC, intake and maybe upgraded oil cooler. No plan for to change downpipe for a variety of reasons. Will these mods. support a stage 2 tune or is the downpipe an essential component of the tune?
Also more interested in reliability and safeguarding engine life than absolutely maxing power output. What's GIAC's approach to engine protection (increased water pump pressure or ?) Sounds like great progress. |

You are not even close on maxing out the performance of the N54 at Stage 2 on pump or race fuel mode. All parameters are monitors during the R&D process(GIAC used my personal 1M with 2000 miles on it), this is a complete DME flash, not a signal modifier or map changer like the JB or Proceed product. Evolution Racewerks, Berk Technology and our 335i were all on GIAC's N54 flash for Redline Time Attack with zero reports of any issues. That was putting GIAC to the ultimate test and it passed with flying colors on three different vehicles with very different hardware mods. |

Borla Axle Back AFE Sealed Single Cone AFE intake has zero restrictions as tested at GIAC, one of the best intakes out there! GIAC is working on a new Stage 2, should be smoother with more power. Stay tuned!!! |
