I'm assuming the mt1-r was perfect in the rear, did you ever try to mount them on the front? I'm curious about potential caliper clearance when going down to 17"s. I would think the 44 offset would work well comparing to the 18's, except for the potential caliper issue...

Marwan was a good sport, and nice enough to test fit the fronts (and rears) for me, because I had the same concerns. Everything fits very well. There is as much brake clearance as I think you can get with a 17" wheel. Both front and rears look to be perfect fits for the 135i. Can't wait to mount them up!

Yeah we did mount the mt1's on the front plenty of room for the caliper but you would need to run a spacer because the rim touches the strut slightly.
