Another New Injen Intake Owner

Install: Everything was relatively easy..although the only thing I was surprised about was that you have to drill a hole in one part of the car. Although it was straight forward this is the first time a intake required this.

Impressions: Well I must say I was expecting more of a growl to the intake. When I installed the Delage intake on my E46 M3 there was an insane growl coming from the intake that was literally to die for. If you are expecting the same thing you will not get it from this intake. What it did make louder was the sound of the turbo. That thing is much louder. I might as well have installed a blow off valve because that is what it sounds like. You get that wooshing when accelerating...and then the PSSSHH when you let off the gas. Sadly enough with DCT you dont get that PSSHH in between shifts.

Anyways just thought I would share. It will be interesting how much louder the JB3 will make the turbos sound when that gets here.

DCT: No loss of power in between shifts, no loss of boost, no PSSHH, huge grin on my face!

Yea I know it actually only does that when you let off the gas. Somewhat makes me want to get a manual.
