Anyone used NTX Coding as a tune?

Anyone used NTX Coding as a tune? If so, what are your thoughts?

Nope. Never heard of them. Why not a jb4. Unless you're thinking about doing a modified backend flash, that's a good choice too, and Wedge (pm wedgeperformance) may be able to help out with that.

Btw, I'm in Little Elm, just a few miles south from you. And I have a friend who lives in your neighborhood. Small world!

No kidding...well what's going on neighbor!?! Well, I have a question then...If something goes wrong with the engine while using the JB4, is it detectable with an SDS from the dealer hooked up? I will be doing the work on my car at my dealership (Park Place Motorcars in Grapevine) so just in case an extended warranty rep asked to see values or codes, I want to make sure he can't see that it has been tuned.

Cobb is easiest to deal with when you have a warranty. 20 mins and you are back to stock flash, codes cleared, with nothing to remove from your vehicle. JB4 has more customization. The choice is yours.

If you're worried about warranty, don't mod. Period.

If you set the map to 0, it puts it in pass through mode. I've heard it is undetectable by BMW and other good sources, so I'd trust it.

You can also reset adaptations, etc, using the USB cable (definitely invest into one for logs and firmware updates).

The jb4 litteraly takes less than 5 seconds to set it to map 0.

I've never been a big fan of frequent flash write/rewrites. But I also have bad luck, soo...

I haven't owned a car that I didn't modify...I work for a dealer and we can easily tell if our Benz's are tuned by Brabus, Kleemann...whoever. If an inspector comes out, they won't even continue with the inspection if it's tuned regardless of the issues. If your only come back is a dumb one, I'd prefer you keep your unhelpful comments to yourself. I will be working on my car myself besides the tune and I'm aware of ones that are harder to detect, just wanted some clarification.
