The ZSP seats works best for people on the skinny side. Definitely not comfy for the heavier side.

You don't need to change the car. Just find the right Chinese bone doctor and do the right massage/theraphy

My thighs have been killing me after 20 minutes or so -- I eventually concluded that it was the lip at the edge of the seat. Lowering it so that it was sloped down helped a bit but it didn't eliminate the problem.

So I got myself a soft cushion and it has made a big difference.

I hate the idea that I have this beautiful new car with a cheap cushion -- I'm going to give it a few days and see if I can figure out the best size. Then I may try and get something custom-made so it fits and the colors match.

I like the ZSP/ZPP seats and have been able to adjust them to fit like a glove.

On a sidenote, I strained my lower back over turkey weekend and the lumbar support + the heated seats feels great. Entry angle and exit hurts a bit.

Shit - My body used to rebound immediately after my weekend sport stints. Getting older sucks

Volvo has the most comfortable seats of any auto manufacturer.......even the seats in my really old 240s were excellent.......but the modern-day Volvos seats are absolutely the best.

It all depends on how tall you are... I am 6'4" (220lbs) and decided against sport seats. After a few hours of driving they begin to pinch really bad.

I have 2 cars.my 645 ci has the sport seats, which I love.I just bought an 06'Lexus 400h,and those seats kill my back, since I injured it 8 weeks ago.I love the firmness in the BMW seat.My sister has an Ls430,and I still like my BMW seats better.

My new job will require lots of time driving and I am leaning towards the Saab due to the seat comfort. I do like the 3 Series (ZSP) extendable lateral support for the legs, though. . . Please offer some more thoughts on this owners!!

I agree on the Saab seats. I happen to own both cars now, and while the BMW is quieter, smoother, and quicker, when I make the 7 hour trip I make almost every week, I definitely feel more comfortable after a while in the Saab. But ironically, it has 60,000 miles now and a propensity for electrical problems and I take the BMW anyway since I don't want to get stranded in rural GA in a Saab.

You'll get killed on resale with the Saab. The BMW will probably cost less overall and is the superior car.

it's a 2006 Lexus hybrid SUV. If 645 Kid wasn't such a dumb a$$ he'd realize that the full model name of his car is the RX400h.

And don't listen to him. He didn't hurt his back 8 weeks ago, he's faking it.

Premium package should do the job with its numerous power adjustments and its lumbar support button. Avoid Sport package, so you can keep that softer ride and higher stance for easy entry and exit from the car. You might need a back massager while your at it

I know. I also like how he put the ' after the 06.

Must be a teenager and those are his parents cars (or he's flat out lying). He probably got a big zit on his back.

Seat comfort is such a personal preference.

I'm 6'2 with long legs, and comfortable seating has become one of the most important factors when choosing a car given my daily commute is more than 2hrs. round trip.

Given that I had an '05 745 you'd think that would be my recomendation, but it isn't. The [comfort] seats in that car had 1000's of possibilities but I never found any position totally comfortable. I'm most comfortable in my wife's '03 X5 with sports seats. Not nearly as many combinations of seating possibilites as the 745, but I just feel much more support and comfort (probably also due to position of the truck platform vs. sedan). I am comfortable in my '06 330 with sports seats, more comfortable than most sedans, just not as comfortable as the X5.

A couple of weeks ago I was in a pretty serious car acciedent with my 330 and it's in the shop now awaiting parts and body repair (I was slammed from behind by 3 cars - not pretty). Strangely enough, for a few days I was put in a basic Grand Prix and found the seats surprisingly comfortable. The car itself was a shitbox, but I was comfortable. I'm now driving a Cadilac Escalade as a rental. Big monster, with comfortable seats, but, not as much support as our X5.

you're probably right. I've seen him over on a boating forum. He claims to have a 46 foot Hatteras too! I wonder if he even has a driver's license.

Funny you should say that. I had a Pontiac Montana minvan as a rental once and I loved the seats because you could tilt the base of the seat way back and get a driving position like those anti-gravity chairs. Probably not the best driving position, but comfy.

Also, I sat in a 7-series and wasn't thrilled.

Our car show is in January and I will go sit in as many seats as I can.
