Cracked Charge Pipe?

So I've noticed I get this high pitched whistling sound at or near WOT only mods are BMS intake and exhaust. Thought the whistling could be from the charge pipe has a leak or maybe something with the BOV but I'm not running extra boost. Car is a 2011 with 13k miles on it.

Check your exhaust piping for black spots around the welds and flanges.

Can you hear it in the cabin with windows up? Where does it sound like it's coming from. Does it whistle in neutral.

The BMS intake will make an odd high pitched noise at times at WOT.. Mine does it, and a friends E90 also did it when the intake was installed. I've heard it on a few others as well. I recommend installing stock intake first and see if the noise is still there.

It Doesn't whistle in neutral and the noise is distinctly from the front and I can hear it with the windows up.

Agree. Even worse if the odd BMS "cowl delete" is installed..
