I appreciate the responses. I'm not really concerned about crazy power I just want to spend my money on parts that make an actual difference. I see people spending 600 on an muffler for sound and not power. That is a total waste and what I'm trying to avoid.

The downpipes aren't too bad if you can put the car on a lift. If you're going to do it in your driveway I'd plan on about 4 hours, give or take depending on your ability and tools.

I've got a friend who runs a muffler shop, and we did mine on a lift in about 2 hours (including a few beer breaks).

Here is what I think creates the most from hire to lower...
1. A tune
2. A turbo back exhaust-how hard are they to install and what is the cheapest one available?
3. catless
4. Intake-Do the scoops etc make that much of a difference? I know on an evo the intake didn't do much in terms of power.
5. IC

It would be nice to see some dyno numbers with before and after mods.
Please let me know how much power they make and what throws a code?

I just installed mine today, and i love it. sounds great, wasnt a hard install and i wont say that i feel a gain none the less but had a nice gentlemen on my post tell me that i made a wrong decision and that my injen makes me lose power and my engine will be happier without the injen.

Who knows anymore, to many haters. but agree Injen is doing well with this intake and its sales.

The search button (and google) is your friend:

1. JB4 (N55 for your car), MHD, Dinan
2. VRSF is popular ($300)
3. Google
4. Plenty, but Burger intake is popular
6. Plenty, but VRSF is inexpensive and popular ($480)
