18x9.5" all around?
Hey everyone,
My girlfriend just bought a 2008 135i, she is wanting new wheels on it and found some she liked from a private party. The wheels are SSR GT7's and are 18x9.5 all around with a +50 offset... Will these fit? |

The proper fitment for the 1-series would be 18x8.5" ET45 in the front and 18x9.5" ET62 or ET58 in the rear, depending on what is offered for your car.

I have BBS LM's from Japan (different offsets than the american version).
They are 18x9 et40 and 18x10 et50. I run 225/35 and 255/35 tires. I have a 5mm spacer in front essentially making it 18x9 et35. I also run negative 2-degrees camber in the front and back. Your 18x9.5 et50 will work great in the back and you will probably be able to run a 265/35 tire if not larger than that. On the front you will need a smaller width wheel. Like others said, you can always go through the sticky on top of the wheel section and see what others have had good luck with. If you're looking for a square setup (same wheel and tire width/size), you'll probably have to go with an 8.5 inch wide wheel with the right offset to work on both the front and rear. Kind of complicated, because there's no real room for error up front.
